Recent Works
해요 작가는 제주에서 매일 그림을 그리며 지내고 있다. 지난해(2024)부터 새롭게 정물에 대해 탐구하는 거에 흥미를 가지고 다양한 시도의 작업에 대해 구상하고 있다. 정물뿐만 아니라 풍경이 지닌 요소와 인물을 정물처럼 배치하여 모든 개별적 요소들이 오브제로 작용하고 마치 연출된 연 극 무대 같은 분위기를 만들어 내기도 한다. 초상, 풍경, 정물이라는 회화의 가장 큰 구분을 경계 없이 넘나드는 포부를 가지고 화면 하나에 담아보는 작업을 하고 있다. (작가노트 편집)
